Thanks for your reply, Akash, but you didn't read my question very carefully. I sais "Generally I can blacklist spam and scams using the Blacklist button on the AVG toolbar…" In other words, the Blacklist button is turned on and works for MOST senders, but not for some. It APPEARS to work; that is, the email disappears when I press the Blacklist button, but I will still receive mail from that same sender. This only happens with a few senders; most are properly blacklisted.
Hi Harry,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern.
I suggest you to check if the Anti Spam component has been installed and Turned ON on your computer.
To install the Anti-Spam component, please follow these steps: Please Open AVG Internet Security>Menu>Components and search for the Anti Spam component.
Let me know if you experience any difficulties.
I have AVG Email Shield for MS Outlook 2013. Generally I can blacklist spam and scams using the Blacklist button on the AVG toolbar, but a couple of senders seem to have found a way round the blacklisting. One example is newsletter@e.dailyaussieoffers.com.
Why is this, and what can I do about it if AVG can't fix the problem?
Further to my last message, Outlook 2013 has now decided to disbable the AVG Email scanner because it's causing Outlook to crash; and I can't enable it again. Does it really do anything more than the Block Sender option in Outlook?
Hi Harry,
Without me being able to see what is happening it is hard to estimate what the situation is.
I've sent you an email to connect to our Remote Expert Technician to help you with the issue. Please check your Inbox and connect to our Remote Team.
