Please reset AVG Internet Security settings and check with the program.
Follow the below steps to reset the program settings.
Open AVG Internet Security –> click Menu –>select Settings –> click Troubleshooting –> Scroll down to the “Reset All Settings” section and click on “Reset to Default“ –> Reboot the computer.

I have AVG Internet security - paid version.
After the avg update yesterday April 1, I get the message "advanced firewall is off" today.
Press "on" to say "Enhanced Firewall not available"
