Avg Error after last update: has to do with avgwfpa.sys

Here’s a more relevant and streamlined solution to your issue, especially in connection with Asphalt 8:

Fix BSOD (avgwfpa.sys error):

Uninstall AVG: Use the AVG Remover Tool to completely uninstall AVG and remove all traces.

Reboot your system.

Reinstall AVG: Download the latest version of AVG from the official website and reinstall it.

Fix Windows Firewall Issue:

Make sure AVG is allowed through Windows Firewall by checking both Private and Public network permissions.

Asphalt 8 Ban:

The connection issues caused by AVG may have triggered the ban in Asphalt 8.

Clear cache or data (if using an emulator) or contact Gameloft Support to lift the ban.

Switch Antivirus:

If AVG continues causing problems, consider switching to a different antivirus, at least temporarily, to avoid affecting your gaming experience.

For Asphalt 8 optimization and avoiding interruptions, you can also enjoy Asphalt 8 all cars unlocked for a seamless racing experience!

Avg Error after last update: had same problem as other Avg users with Windows Firewall to begin with then after fixing this it happened again the next day, then I recieved the BSOD after trying to reinstall. BSOD: Driver IRQL not lesser or equal       error with avgwfpa.sys
Have tried repairing & reinstalling none of this helps infact thats when BSOD came up which did not turn off so unplugged computer from powerpoint 3 hours later.
An information Icon remains over the AVG icon in the systems tray, & states click here form more info, there is none. The only info I got is when it blue screened.
Turned computer off & out of frustration hit the reset button on the computer which allows me to use the internet again which would not come on, download emails, log into sites eg: Gameloft Asphalt 8, who banned me due to suspicious cercumstances all because of this avg error.
This has become more than frustrating as I have to reset my computer on a daily basis just to get around this problem. Can someone please help???
