So I disabled HTTPS scanning part and everything is working fine now. Is there an update that fixes this issue so we can enable HTTPS scanning?

I understand this must be upsetting. Did the issue with loading websites got resolved after you uninstalled AVG? Please apply the following settings in AVG Antivirus and check if the issue is resolved.
Open AVG Antivirus and click on Menu->Settings-> Components->Online shield->Customize->Main settings-> uncheck HTTPS scan.

This shouldn't happen in our latest version. Let us know the version of AVG you have installed.
Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> About -> check its version.
