I am informed by AVG that my AVG Secure Browser is out of date and the update failed. Please download the update (This was an automatic update that failed.)
So I downloaded the item as requested and attempted to load it but stalls at about 4/5 and fails to procede.
I uninstalled the AVG Browser first (losing my tabbed pages in the process) and then attempted the reinstall again it hangs.
I not very pleased (this is an understatement).

I am also having problems with the AVG secure browser not being able to update. It installs but i have an annoying update message at the top of my screen and when i first go into the browser and try a search the message comes up every time about reinstalling my avg browser. Then i can search after that warning. Really annoying as avg is not helping to sort out this problem. Seems like they do not know their own product. Maybe time to move away from avg altogether.

I am also having that problem. Recently tech support tried to solve another problem and had to uninstall and reinstall AVG Browser. Now I got the same message, but it won’t open at all now. I have rebooted my computer. Still won’t open. Is it time to switch to another browser?
same here on all 4 of my households pc’s, all different, some on win 10, others win 11, fails to reinstall on all of them. really bad from AVG. sort it out now
