May I know since when you're facing this issue?
Also, let us know whether you've recently transferred any files to your Mac Pc, or downloaded any files from online.
Note : AVG Internet Security protects your PC by its high security, it will not directly allow any unwanted connections or malicious files to access your PC. Instead it will pop-up a threat notification and quarantine (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=Use-AVG-Quarantine) the concerned file.
Thank you.
I see that this problem has people all over the world frustrated with the same issue that I have. A Pop-Up every 5 seconds from AVG File Shield alert showing "Multiple threats secured" on my Mac.
I am looking at complaints from over 4 years ago. Never see a solution. Why?
I understand the desire to have that with the FREE version. Let people know that they have issues that you can detect and fix. BUT, I have been a paying customer for years. Just tell me where (in the paid version only) to flip the switch and auto-quarantine the files and let me get my work done!!
I have spent hours and hours on this over the past 8 days.
No answers, No Solutions and apparently they don't want to fix it… years and years. Now I have to find a new Virus Protection company, or uninstall or something.
