AVG firewall stops Proton VPN

I have the same issue. Is there a fix?

1. Confirm the version of AVG Internet Security installed in your device.
2. Let us know the version of operating system installed.
3. Do you have any other VPN program other than Proton VPN?
4. Have you tried to change the location on VPN and check it?

I have Proton VPN as part of a comprehensive package. Since the last two AVG updates, when the Proton VPN is active the AVG firewall blocks access to Internet. If I run the AVG repair option, then the Internet access is granted with Proton VPN active, but this works only once. If I close the browser when I reopen it the firewall stops again the access. Of course, the Proton VPN and is associated apps are enabled in the firewall menu. I would appreciate some advice.
