However, you can try running the AVG Clear (beta version) & then install AVG Free Antivirus.

avg disapeared in my tool bar and wouldn't apear in my installed programs anymore from one day to the other. I could not deinstall it because it kept saying that the file instup.exe could not be found. I can't even delete the avg program folders. It says: "You require permission from Administrators to make changes to this folder". I am loged in with an administrator account. I can't even change permissions of the folders.
Can anyone help me?
Yes I tried. But it does not start. The progress bar pops up when I double click it and then it does nothing
