AVG Free 2015 - Download the FULL Installation File

Thats another very good point.
On the previous page http://free.avg.com/au-en/download-free-all-product where the full installation exe's were provided the MD5 code was supplied for both 32bit and 64bit versions of AVG Free 2015.
Why has AVG removed the exe files from that page is the million dollar question.
I think its just another reason to install an alternative free Anti Virus app.
AVG are making it harder and harder to install and update AVG Free.
Along with the now expected problems every time AVG introduce a new version, well its just another straw to break the camels back.

Hello John
Thanks for your feedback here. I understand completely. In general it is convenient to have offline file in your case as to install it later, without the need for internet connection. (In the case of a limited package of Internet operator)

If your friend has an old file available offline file 165 MB, for AVG Free 2015
It may take it from him. transferring it to external media such as a USB stick. and then install it on your device
And after installation update to date.

I'll check for offline installer file, and will let you know
Thanks

Thanks AVG Guru for your reply.
But im sorry to inform you that up until a week ago the Full size Installation file was available at Install AVG on your PC, Mac | AVG installation files
Ive found a copy with one of my friends and its "avg_free_x86_all_2015_5645a8758" and its 156,004kb.
So now the question is why has AVG removed the link to the Full size installation file from that page???
Supplying only a 4mb Installer is a joke!!! if you want to install on multiple computers.
It means that you have to downlod via the 4mb installer approx 156mb for each and every PC.Instead of only once for all.
The problem might not worry those on a fibre connection etc but if your on a wireless connection with limited download its a hassle.

And where might I find MD5 or other shuch hash codes to verify that the downloads are not corrupted?

I have multiple computers and I want to install AVG Free 2015 to all of them.
So of these computers are not usually connected to the web.
So I want to download the FULL Installation File.
If I use the Installer I have to connect to the web and download the necessary files for EVERY Computer.
The Full Install File for Windows based computers was until recently avaiable at
 http://free.avg.com/au-en/download-free-all-product
Why has it been removed from that page???

And where might I find MD5 or other shuch hash codes to verify that the downloads are not corrupted?

Hello John
Yes. now has added offline installation file. for AVG AntiVirus Free, for later installation

You can choose which version to use
Or my link which I have given above

Or again the old which you share here
Both versions are the same file / version

It is important only to know which is your 32 bit or 64 bit. just run your system

Note: Keep in mind that the initials have meanings
as file initials, x86. meets the 32-bit version
A file x64, corresponds to the 64 bit version

I hope that you already have installed AVG AntiVirus Free and works well

If you need help do not hesitate to share it here
Thanks
