Our senior team has confirmed that it is not possible to disable automatic updates for virus definition on AVG Antivirus free for Mac, as we want our customers to be always up-to-date with virus protection and program as well.

I wish to disable the automatic definitions downloads whilst connected to my data-limited wireless router.

We do not have a constant size for virus definition file. It is based on the bug we fix and the feature we add.

The size of virus definition file will keep changing based on the update we release. It will not have the same size each time.

You can choose manual update on AVG product and update it manually while connected with other network. Unfortunately, we do not have option to disable update for specific network.

Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> Settings -> Update -> select manual update to perform update at your convenient time & network.

Graham, we do not have a record of this.

Every few hours a new patch will be released. The size of the updates differ from few Kb to Mb.

I have AVG Antivirus Version 18.3 installed.
I cannot see a reference to AVG Internet Security or a menu with Settings on it.
Am I being dim?
