Alan,
I posted again because the answer to the original question I posted did not address the problem. I could not find the original post so I posted. Perhaps I did not respond properly.
After numerous hours of dealing with this issue I finally remove AVG free antivirus from my computer and installed product. I believe the source of all these problems come from AVG's insistence on trying to sell people the AVG security which many people don't want. After reading the blogs I noticed that many people have had the same problem and additionally many people have left AVG.
Perhaps in the future AVG may want to consider reverting back to their old format where the AVG free antivirus and paid subscriptions are completely separate. Once you have downloaded the AVG free antivirus and have let it expire your computer is put in a sort of cyber hell.
Butch, In future please refrain from carrying out multiple topic postings on the same subject! You won't obtain an answer to your query any faster!. Also please try to keep the whole conversation in one question/thread to speed up any resolution. Please see your other posting (https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b0000000DnCfAAK).

When I try to scan I get the following message:
"Sorry, we experienced a slight hiccup in communicating with our server." This has been going on all day. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
Your assistance is appreciated.
Once again there is nothing on the page that I log I. To the community that says"all questions". I searched and see that you have sent this reply to others. They also can't find any "all questions" link.
Butch, I use 'Google Chrome' browser & I can only repeat that when logged onto the Community @ the top of this page, in the middle, I see 'Show All Questions sorted by Recent Activity'. The 'All Questions' is blue in colour & when I click on this I see the drop-down menu.
