This is from my original email describing the problem. It's still not working correctly even though I removed the old and reinstalled it on 6/7/17 as you instructed. A little different this time. Automatic scan didn't start at the set time, reset it and ran okay the next day. The following day it said scanning and after 1/2 hour checked status, but was in the loop, not actually scanning, just like before. Takes over an hour to run scans, whether auto or manual. Also doesn't post the correct date in: Last computer scan. Said it was 3 days ago when it was done on the day before. What is the solution, please?

Says it's scanning but is on continuous loop. Never moves % percent after 3 times between 10-20 minutes, 6/2/3/4-2017. However if I stop it and click to restart the scan, it starts showing files scanned immediately and will run until 100% and finished. Set for daily at 1700 hours. Ran AVG repair today to see if that would help. No it did not. Help, please…
