Elizabeth, we could see that you have reached our remote team and got the case escalated to our senior team.
They are investigating the case and it would take time for them to provide some suggestions.

Thank you.
Welcome to the club. AVG TuneUp did the same for me. Installed it, ran it and immediately major programmes stopped working. The technician even admitted that there was something wrong with the TuneUp and yet I still have a broken computer and no help. You'll hear a lot of "sorry for the inconvenience" but not much actual help. AVG has got too big and no longer cares about customers - I have been a customer for a very long time, but I will be going elsewhere now.
For all who is facing problems after installing AVG (for me AVG Antivirus Free)
BOOT your system in to SAFE MODE. if you are not able to access settings, then do this:
1) unplug your pc
2) plug in and press power button
3) when you see the loading dots quickly unplug the pc
4) repeat step 2 and 3 for 2 times
5) you will finally enter windows recovery
6) click troubleshoot->start up settings-> then click restart
7) You will get a menu. in that press 4 on the keyboard
8) System will reboot and you're on safe mode. Uninstall AVG Product.
9) Reboot system
10) Now you have peace now you are releived
Thanks

Hello Anita.
We regret any inconvenience caused.
If you could provide more details about the issues that you are experiencing, we'd be glad to look into this and provide you a resolution.
Which AVG product is installed on your PC and how did you narrow down this issue to AVG?
Since when are you experiencing the internet connectivity issues on your PC?
Does the internet connection on other devices which are connected to same network is working fine? Did you make any other changes on your PC?

You are bloody joking - check your previous posts. I am instructing a solicitor tomorrow!
Elizabeth, we apologize if an AVG product did not meet your expectations.
It could be possible that you have put some programs to sleep from running in the background to speed up the performance.
If you have a paid or trial subscription of AVG TuneUp, please get in touch with our technical support team (https://support.avg.com/support_tech_chat?l=en) and they'd be glad to help you to resolve the issues.

Hi
After AVG requested a reboot to update itself I lost internet connection.
My Win 10 Home computer reported that there was no driver for my WiFi card loaded after the reboot.
The fix for me was go to the GENERAL tab of SYSTEM CONFIGERATION and select Normal Startup which load all drivers. After another reboot all was OK.
Hello Jim,
This isn't the expected behavior and we apologize for the inconvenience caused.
We would like to know whether you have any 3rd party antivirus program installed along with AVG?
Are you using the free or paid version of AVG?
It is also necessary to check whether you have the latest version of AVG.
Click on "Menu–>About" from AVG Antivirus free/AVG Internet Security program to check the version.
Please do inform about the version that you see on that window.
