AVG has removed an operating file called liveupdate.exe from a software I use to update drivers called driver genius. How do I get it restored?

Harold, What AVG product are you actually referring to? If it's PC TuneUp have a look @ this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-restore-changes-made-to-your-computer-by-AVG-PC-Tuneup).
