AVG have overcharged me! Is it a Ripoff?

I signed for the offer of 60 days FREE trial of AVG secure VPN  via one of their notorious pop up nag screens  and that was due to expire 13th April before switching over to billing…I now see they have billled  me  through Paypal a whooping A$104.99 for membership on March 29th 4 days or so before the free trial ends transaction order ID #91573805400.
Im so pissed off i have unsubscribed from mostly all of their products that I have succumbed to via their nag screens.
Anyone else had this problem?
The free version years back used to be such a uncomplicated service,but now its a pain.
