I have Windows 8.1 and AVG 2016 Protection (paid version). Suddenly noticed the icon has gone walkabout from the taskbar. I have tried 'Notifications' but it appears greyed out so cannot reinstate. Is this something AVG have done since my last update and removed it from the taskbar? If so bring it back AVG because I use it to see if everything is OK and the warning triangle is a good indicator for me as I have visual impairment. What is going on with all these big media companies only producing stuff for all the high tech nerds to use. All your customers deserve consideration AVG

Kishore you misunderstand - I am not getting any 'error' messages. Situation is just the icon has been removed from the taskbar since last update from AVG. My question was 'why' and how do I fix, or is there something in the update that has removed displaying the icon in task bar.
Seems a lot of trouble you suggest just to reinstate my icon. Plus as I have visual impairment would probably need help which will mean expensive phone call to AVG, and after paying for license is a bit outrageous.
