I use Chrome and noticed it was saying "Managed By Organsiation", so fearing the worst I ran full Scans of AVG/Malwarebytes which came up clean, I removed and reinstalled Chrome, same problem. Google searches suggested that others have had the same issue and some PC's had indeed been attacked, some people suggested it was a "feature" of Chrome, so I logged a support call with them, I have had no rely from them yet.
A week later I was still looking for fixes on the web, this morning I found a article suggesting the problem was caused by AVG/Web Shield!
To test this
I deactivated Web Sheild, the Chrome problem had gone
Activated Web Sheild, the chrome problem returned.
Why does AVG/Web Sheild impact Chrome in such a way as to suggest the PC has been attacked by a virus or malware?
