Hi Robert,
I understand the inconvenience, let’s try to fix it together.
To resolve the issue please follow the steps provided in this article : http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product

Note : Please run the AVG Clear first and then the AVG Remover. If AVG Remover does not detect any version of the AVG product on your PC, click Run anyway to remove leftovers.

Once uninstalled, please reinstall the AVG Anti Virus again.

NO link to AVG Clear or AVG Remover provided. Where can we find them??

AVG is in passive mode. Clicking on "Repair", it replies "de-install AVG 2013" which NOBODY can find!
Cannot get through this, it re-appears all the time. What to do?
