AVG Inernet Security and Antivirus Free both installed

I would request you to uninstall AVG AntiVirus free from control panel as described in this article (https://bit.ly/32K18yE).

Both softwares are installed on my pc.  I recently renewed my subscription for Internet Security and  it is active on my pc. I inadvertently also installed the antivirus free version.  Are both compatible or can/will they cause some sort of havoc with shared or conflicting files?  How do I safely uninstall the free version without messing up my subscribed paid version?  Or should I uninstall both and then re-install Internet Security?
