AVG Installation Failing

I downloaded the 64 bit offline installer program, ran it and it still stalled at 97% completion.  I then used the AVG clear again, ran a full disk check, and cleaned my registy and tried installing it again. Still stalls at 97%.  I have spy bot search and destroy and CC cleaner installed on my computer, would these interfere?  Any suggestions?

I have run both AVG remover and AVG clear and have deleted all traces of previous programs on my computer.  When I try to reinstall AVG antivirus it will stall at 97% and will timeout every single time.  I'm lost on how to fix this, any help would be appreciated.

I uninstalled spy bot, and ran AVG clear again.  Then tried to install the 64 bit offline installation program, but it again stalled and timed out at 97%.  I restarted my computer and it shows the AVG program running in my taskbar.  But when I open it there is no active protection and it says that AVG is in passive mode.  When I click the fix now button it states that I have a conflicting antivirus program running.  It claims that I have AVG Antivirus free edition 2014 sill running.  When I click the link to go uninstall it, it shows 2 AVG programs installed on my computer.  Program 1 is AVG version 1.181.3.3057, the other says AVG Protection version 17.4.3014.  What should I do next?  Thanks for the help.

Hello Bo,

I am sorry to hear that the issue persists. The Spybot search and destroy will conflict with AVG, I suggest you to remove this application and check if the installation of AVG gets completed  If you face any difficulties, please let us know and we will assist you further.
