AVG installation issue with Windows 10

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
AVG programs are totally compatible with Windows 10, please have a look at this link: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-compatibility-with-Windows-10 .
You are getting incompatible message because you should have installed our AVG Zen program on your PC and then you try to install the AVG security program for which you have purchased the license.
Zen program doesn't have a license number for it and the installation is only by entering the AVG my account credentials.
This is the reason you couldn't install the AVG program that uses the license number when Zen program is already installed.
To install your AVG program that has the license number you have to completely remove Zen program using the AVG remover tool.

I just got a new Dell computer with Windows 10. I just opened the package for AVG 2015 to install it. It won't install. It gets to the end and says "this app isn't compatible with this version of Windows." Any suggestions?

  1. To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link: http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
    2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
    3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.
    NOTE: Once you have logged into your PC after the restart, please go to C: drive and delete the "AVG REMOVER" folder manually.

I followed your instructions but I am getting the same error. I don't have a license #. I purchased the AVG 2015 CD. It only has a sales #. I restarted as well, as suggested.
