Did you follow the instructions in this article to resolve the user interface issue?
I have attempted to install a fresh copy from my paid subscription to my Dell all-in-one Windows 8/ 64bit PC. The first attempt the Dashboard Screen does not launch. I get notification that the UI Failed. Located how to resolve in this forum from previous post. Utilized the AVG Clear Tool and successfully uninstalled AVG [in Safe Mode]. Logged back into my avg account and downloaded a new copy to the above stated PC. Again I get the UI Failed, but AVG is running. This also has shown up as a possible issue to why dashboard wont launch. The AVGUI [AVGUI.exe] including the .dll files associated and the AVLaunch files are missing from the setup application. The setup files to install a clean copy to my PC are not complete. How do I get this resolved. Not comfortable being online [like now] without any antivirus software. My other Windows 10 ACER is functioning properly for the AVG.
