AVG Internet Security 2015 won't install

I have used AVG free for a number of years. Recently downloaded a 30 day trail version on AVG Internet Security 2015. When I went to purchase the software near the end of the trial I paid the amount and then downloaded the software again. It would not install with the failed message  Error Code 0x0070643  Event exec failed. Tried twice.

Then uninstalled AVG internet Security and tried to install again. It has failed again.

Any ideas?
