If you have any doubts you can always use the Malwarebytes 'free version', which doesn't feature the real-time residential protection, to carry out any additional scanning.

I have AVG Internet security and a paid copy of Malwarebytes the later of which is due for renewal. Does Internet security protect me from malware or do I need to renew my Malware subscription? They don't seem to be conflicting but don't want to pay for a subscription I don't need.
