AVG Internet Security and PC Tune-up

Hello Jennifer,
We apologize if an AVG product did not meet your expectations. Our main goal is to keep our customers happy. AVG carefully monitors the quality of our products and the service we provide, therefore all feedback from our customers is important to us. If you have a specific experience with AVG products that you would like to share with us, please open AVG Internet Security > menu > about > product feedback. It will reach to our development team and they will definitely look into your suggestions. Regarding AVG promotional pop ups, the frequency of pop ups can be controlled directly from the app or can be even turned off (please open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > general > Pop ups > manage your pop ups). Also, you can uncheck the box "show pop up offers for other AVG Products" in general settings.
Best regards,
Alok.

I'm not impressed with the latest upgrade to AVG Internet Security. Your software used to be user friendly and fairly seamless in its operation. However the latest upgrade happened without warning and didn't retain my previous settings, eg my daily scheduled scan at midday. It was quite difficult to set up the scheduled scan again. Also the nagging about PC Tune-up on the bottom of the front screen of AVG Internet Security finally got to me and I installed a trial version. It then required me to make a lot of decisions about what to delete/upgrade/put to sleep, when I really just wanted it to clean up junk and let me get on with my real work. What is annoying is that the computer seems to work a little slower now, especially when it has to wake up a commonly used program like Microsoft Outlook. I ended up not paying for AVG PC Tune-up and have uninstalled the trial version. My recommendations to AVG programmers are:
1. Keep the user's settings when you send out an upgrade to AVG Internet Security.
2. Do not have nagging advertisements on the bottom of the screen of AVG Internet Security.
3. Don't keep flogging PC Tune-up. If there are genuinely easy computer fixes applicable to all users, include them in AVG Internet Security.
