For better clarity, please share us the screenshots of the AVG interfaces.
Also, let us know the version of AVG that is installed. (Go to control panel - Apps - Apps & features - version would be listed beside Internet Security).

Last few days I'm getting just a black screen on the AVG interface, same as post https://support.avg.com/answers?id=9065p000000go22
Originally on both AVG Internet Security snd AVG VPN but AVG TuneUp was OK, then after reinstalling (using avgclear plus unintall options) all three are now the same
Operating system is Windows 10 Home build (64bit) 19045.2846
No other antivirus programs
Reinstall showed no errors
Any help would be appreciated
Now working fine, reinstalled Windows and all other software on a cleaned drive. Not sure of the origonal cause but its about time I did this. Thanks for all support help but this solution was good for me

i have the same problem, any solution? I tried the instructions above and it didn't help
I've tried a different graphics card, still the same, seems to coincide with the last Windows update. Going to leave it for now and reinstall when new updates available

Still the same after above advice, even the same using 'Microsoft basic display adapter'
I've not got roung to trying a different display board but will hopefully do this in next few days

Hi, no I didn't use the remote team, I do appriciate all the help but I'll have some time in a few weeks to have a play with this.
