Hi Andres,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Please let us know the Android's version & clarify whether you've tried resetting the app.
However, we'd like to clarify that AVG AntiVirus for Android is designed to have minimal impact on battery life.
Testing across multiple devices shows that all services by this app generally take up less than 5% of battery consumption (by comparison, the Launcher can take up about 15% and Gmail about 8%).
AVG AntiVirus can reach maximally 20% battery usage at the peak of CPU use (about 30-60 seconds).
After running full antivirus test on Android device, the app begins drain buttery (50%+) a day without using the device. Is there a way to fix that?
