I have avg Internet security and when I tried to download files from whatsapp, avg asked me if I want to block the download. I commited an error beacuse I selected "Yes", and now I can't download files from whatsapp in general.
I tried to insert the whatsapp file path in the "exceptions" area but it is a microsoft desktop app and I don't have the file path.
I would like to avoid uninstalling avg internet security.

Please follow the below steps to check the blocked app lists on AVG's Ransomware Protection component:
AVG Internet Security > Hacker Attacks > Ransomware Protection > Blocked/Allow Apps
Check if the Whatsapp program is added to the blocked list, if so please remove it from the blocked list and check with the issue.
