You should be using the 2017 version and to disable Firewall in it, please follow the below mentioned instructions.
1) Open AVG Internet Security dashboard, click on Menu and select settings from it.
2) Click on components and to the right you can find the "Firewall"
3) Please turn the green cursor to the left to disable it temporarily.
Please let us know, If the issue gets resolved after disabling Firewall.
I have my PC mobile hotspot turned on and have enabled sharing to other devices. My Galaxy S7 phone detects the network and displays the name on the phone's WiFi connections. I have verified the IP address displayed on the computer is what is in phone. However, the phone says "Connected, No Internet." I feel like I've exhausted all possibilities for lack of connection, except for that I can't figure out how to turn of the AVG firewall what presumably is blocking this device. Thanks.
