Hi,
Yesterday I installed AVG Internet Security 2019. I'd been using AVG IS 2018 before, but something happened with it, and I could not update it. But that is not the question.
So, when I installed AVG, it began to block Google Chrome's internet connection from time to time. I do not know the reason, but the other browsers work fine at the moment Chrome losts connection.
As I can see, AVG analyzes my behavior, and it added Google Chrome to "silent mode" (mostly I work in the browser), so I couldn't see if there were any mistakes when the browser lost internet connection.
It happens from time to time — but still it happens. Every time I reboot the browser, internet connection is always there.
Now I've deleted Chrome from Silent mode to see if there are any messages from AVG when the connection is lost.
You may ask what AVG has to do with the problem, the answer is simple — the problem appeared just after I installed the programm, no other programms were installed recently.
Thank you for any help. I like your product, and would love to use it further, but if the problem persists, I will have to delete AVG IS and replace it with another antivirus software.

Hi,
Thank you for the help. As it turned out, the reason was not in AVG, it was in the extension "AdBlock". As soon as I switched it off, the connection was restored.

Hi,
I just installed AVG and had the same problem. I turned off AVG and it worked again. This happened after I went to windows93.net, clicked one of the fake programs there, and all my opened programs started not responding. After that, I restarted my computer and when I opened Chrome, I couldn't use google.com. For some reason, Yahoo! worked and I started to search what the problem was but none of them were working. After giving up, I opened my Firefox and when I search for something, it wouldn't work and was still in a new tab. Again, Yahoo! worked for some reason.
