Hi all.
My AVG Internet Security (paid version) doesn’t work in Safe Mode. I have tried to start the program but all I get is a black rectangular box (interface) with the words “ |.

We’ve run into a problem and need to restart your antivirus.
Exit / Restart”
When I click ‘Restart’ nothing happens but I can exit the program.
I have been getting popup notifications in my computer out of nowhere (system information popup) and I think I might have a virus or something in the system but normal scan doesn’t detect anything. Haven’t enabled anything like this at start up.
