I understand the inconvenience. Please reset Firefox browser and check if the issue is fixed.
Also, disable AVG program temporarily (right click on AVG icon in system tray and trn off the protection) and check the status.
I just finished installing my paid subscription of AVG Internet Security and AVG Password Protection on another computer. Since I rebooted the computer, the computer will connect to the Internet, but my Firefox browser will not open AT ALL. Internet Explorer will open, and it appears I can use the search function to locate websites, but it will not open them, giving me a message that IE cannot display the webpage due to connection problem that I cannot determine by diagnosing. I am able to open websites that are bookmarked. What is going on? Do I have to uninstall AVG to get my computer working??
This is a big problem because I need that computer to access various web pages daily.
