AVG interferes with PC performance.
I have been using AVG for +10 years but since they were taken over by AVAST the product and the service has gone down hill.
The last AVG update caused problems with outlook and apps such as excel, browsers could not open.
After uninstalling AVG everything worked.
My paid subscription expires in November and I will not be renewing it.
The same applies to AVG VPN.
There is also no section on either of these products where one can cancel the autorenewal. This is very wrong. It's as if AVG once to hold you hostage to using their product.
AVG used to be a good product but now it does nothing but break other PC functions. And they refuse to acknowledge this when you try to tell them.

Making sure that you have the latest version and a restart would have fixed the issue.
To cancel your subscriptions, you can unsubscribe from your AVG MyAccount.
