AVG appeared to be working fine today (all green). Unexpectedly all protection areas went red and stating it could not update. What would cause this? Is there a file running on my computer that could shut things down. Only a week ago the new version did a full scan and removed one trojan virus. All was still OK after that and appeared fine until today's shutdown.

I'm running AVG in safe mode and when I do the above instruciton I get this code and wanting me to restart or exit. I have exited. It appears to be doing a full scan in safe mode is that OK?
