Hello Christopher
Keep in mind that Definitions Update Schedule, available only in the paid version
New virus definition update is

Thanks
Since Sept. 25th, the automatic update no longer happens. It is still set for automatic updates on the virus definitions in the control panel. History shows no attempts to update or errors. If I run the update manually, that works, but then it does not update itself in the following days. I only noticed since it gave warnings that the definitions were out of date after a week or so. I have rebooted, no difference. Normally I just hibernate the system, and it would update on wakeup. Now it does not auto update at all, ever. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I am a paid user running AVG Internet Security on Windows 7 Ultimate.
Christopher, Please ignore the user Boris Po posting. It's totally irrelevant as far as your topic with AVG Internet Security is concerned.

I ran the remover tool, that completed successfully, as did the new install. I will keep an eye on the updates this coming week and let you know if they do not run automatically. Thanks for your help!
