Avg Internet security - Not getting what i paid for

So I signed up for AVG Internet Security for a year as I had performance issues that needed to be resolved. Going from the link I bought it and activated it and yes it's great but when I come to resolve the performance issues it's asking me to pay again… is this service not available on the plan I bought?
