Change the network profile to 'Private' and check whether you are able to achieve remote access.

I tried to install AVG internet security on an Azure virtual desktop.
Upon installation the remote desktop connection was interrupted by the AVG firewall I presume. Hence, I am not able to connect to the virtual desktop anymore.
Is there a way around?
