AVG Internet Security ruined my internet

Hi,
I tried all this and no different. Is there not a way to get my IP cleared? My ISP says I have to contact AVG to get them to unblock my IP? And yes, this is very frustrating to say the least as it's been over a year since I have had full internet access.
Thanks

I understand how difficult this is for you. Please be informed that if the AVG program expires on your computer, it means that the security is disabled and it will no longer block any IP address. Please uninstall AVG completely from your computer and check if you are able to access all websites. If you are still unable to access, it means that some other application or program is causing this issue and not AVG.

Hello Melanie,

I understand the inconvenience. Please activate AVG free to AVG Internet Security and follow the instructions to change the Firewall settings : Open AVG Zen -> Internet Security -> Click on Menu in the top right corner -> Settings -> Components -> Firewall -> Customize -> Network Profiles -> Change the networks from Public to Private.

Also, please go to Settings -> Components -> Firewall -> Customize -> System Rules > Enable all the configurations and check the status.

Last November I "treated myself" and bought the AVG Internet Security download. Since then, it seems like my IP address is blocked or something as there are certain websites I cannot open. I cannot open eBay, I cannot open some shopping sites and I cannot even open my own blog! The only way I can open these sites is by using my phone with the WiFi off.
At first I thought it was my laptop that was faulty/dying and bought a new one but the new one is exactly the same. I've spent hours on the phone to my ISP who at one point even took over my laptop to see if they could find the fault and all they could fathom is that it was the AVG that had blacklisted my IP or something. When I downgraded my AVG back to the free version, it did make a couple of the blocked sites accessible again but the ones I really need access to (ie my blog and eBay) still won't open. Now my AVG Internet Security has expired but the damage appears to have been done. I still cannot open sites.
Is every laptop I ever have now not going to work in my own home all thanks to AVG "protection"???
