Ok, thank you for that info. I just "trashed" the wireless networks piggybacking my system and believe my home system may have been hacked.
I check the notifications and hit "details of the last scan and it "runs" the smart scan again...very quickly I might add and of course says no malware/virus. The "total scans" don't add up either.
My scheduled scans which are daily and deep almost daily had not run; hence me manually updating my AVG software today. It seemed better til I could not do a deep scan.
My computer is always on so it should not be that problem...just a screensaver unless this won't run with the power saver mode; but I never turn it off...

I am "stuck" in a deep scan at 21% and truly suspect "trouble". Mine is the premium version with all subscriptions...
