AVG Internet Security software

Hello Nick. We would require some more information to diagnose your issue. Please follow these steps to send us diagnostic information from your computer. This information will allow us to analyze the situation and provide you with solution:

Click this link http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe to download the AVG SysInfo tool.
Run the downloaded tool.
Click Accept to confirm the license agreement, and then click Continue.
Once the screen Output created is shown, fill in any additional details, or click Attach if you want to attach any additional files, such as screenshots.
Click Send, fill in your email address, and then click Send again.
We will analyze the received files and provide you with further information.

Just in case anyone comes across this page - check your list of emails for special characters like = : ?
I found and removed those (or removed the email) from my list, and then I could import the list into AVG.

If you still get errors, there may be other characters that you need to check for. You could use binary search. Split the list into two shorter lists, and try importing one of the shorter lists. If you get the error, then split THAT shorter list into two, and keep on splitting until you find what is causing the error.
At any stage, if you don't get an error, then whatever is causing the error is in the other half.

Of course, I think we would all like AVG to give a more helpful message, which tells us what line or character is causing problems, to avoid us going through all this trial and error.

2015 AVG Internet Security software - Spam Tool
When configuring the spam tool in Outlook it fails to save my Imported addresses from the Outlook Contacts folder in the Whitelist. Error message states "Format of the provided data is invalid" but all addresses are bone-fide as in *.com & *.ca etc.used daily between friends. (Software is not Outlook Express, but the full version & running in XP). Very pleased with the AVG Internet Security software but with this very important exception. Also suprised that a right click option for immeadiate Whitelist/Blacklist operators choice does not exist as with other software.Any feed back is appreciated.
