Everytime I log in to AVG since it was updated a few days ago I am notified that the last computer scan and virus definitions were updated a few seconds ago. This is incorrect as I have updated virus definitions manually and run computer scans sometimes as recent as an hour or less previously but this does not change the notifications. Please can someone resolve this issue.

Hello John,
I really appreciate your efforts in providing us with valuable information. At this point there is one more thing which we can try, I request you to remove AVG completely along with any previous traces using the AVG clear tool/AVG Remover tool and then do a fresh installation of AVG. This will ensure that none of the previous traces of AVG are left on your computer and you have an updated version.
