All tried previously and again.

Exact same error message.

Exact same issue on anumber of other postings.

Can you advise, beyond these obvious solutions already attempted, how to delete all residual AVG files from the system.
Can you also advise if there is a better support system than this delayed and interrupted messaging process.

I am sure you get this often but worth letting you know - AVG support for products is severely lacking.

I would like the problem resolved - and not over several hours/days.

Please refer the below article and follow the steps as instructed to uninstall AVG Antivirus for Mac completely from your PC.

Then, try reinstall the program and let us know the situation.

Reinstalling AVG Internet Security (rental of annual fee plus upgrade).
Install process advises to uninstall current AVG.
Uninstall completed.
Error message: AVG Antivirus is already installed, please uninstall the previous version first.
 Mac rebooted. Same error message.
High Sierra 10.13.6.
