Please follow the steps below to check whether the "Show AVG Shredder in the Windows Context Menu" option is checked or not.
1.Open AVG interface.
2. Click on Options > select ‘Advanced Settings’
3. Advanced Settings > Appearance, on the right pane, under context menu, check ‘Show AVG Shredder in the Windows Context Menu’.

Within the last month i installed the internet security programme. It has no shredder with the recycle bin. It was there a previous installation. what has happened to it?
Did as you suggest. The box WAS already ticked. Unticked, ticked it again. Now working. Thanks.
