Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> Settings -> Components -> Enhanced Firewall -> click on toggle bar to turn off Firewall.
Do you face any conflict issues with Firewall?

I have avg internet security and cannot see where to turn off the firewall, or better still to edit the firewall.
Can anybody tell me where it is?

Thank you for your answer.
However, I did find it earlier.
I have a problem:
I run tightvnc. I can use it WITHOUT firewall activated, bot NOT with firewall activated.
Can you advise on this problem?

John, we are glad that your AVG firewall issue is resolved.

Regarding the update issue, you have the older version of AVG installed.

The latest version is 19.1, please remove the older version from your computer control panel and click on this link https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Protection to install the latest version.

I have another problem, on another computer, which I mentioned a few days ago:

Original question:
I am running windows 10 and I have Internet security dashboard shows computer update required.  I am running avg version number: 16.161.8048. I have tried to update several times and it still shows Internet security dashboard shows computer update required.
I have uninstalled avg with the avg uninstall tool and reinstalled.
After restart I still get Internet security dashboard shows computer update required.
I don't know what to do now. Can you help?
