Hello Callum,
The instruction you have received for AVG Internet Security activation is for previous version of AVG Internet Security. I request you to open AVG Internet Security > My AVG > My Subscription > Enter license number. Note: If you see your email address, then you have to click logout button at first, after that you will be able to see the button "Enter license number".

I've followed the Steps to enter my new code -
1. Open AVG Internet Security or AVG AntiVirus by double-clicking the AVG icon on your desktop.
2. Click Menu in the top-right corner of the screen and select About.
3. Click the Subscription tab, then click Enter new license.
4. Type or paste the new license code from the email sent to you by AVG, then click Enter license.

Thing is, The subscription tab doesnt exist and my internet security keeps telling me im using a trial.
