Still without any solution ?, or some date of the solution of this inconvenient?, In fact this is affecting us too much

I am experiencing a similar issue and would like to know when this will get fixed. What's strange is that Microsoft Camera app in Windows 10 can access the camera, but another non-Microsoft application that I am using can not.

Hi there!

Since last week AVG is blocking ManyCam product from accessing webcams. Avast confirmed that they had the same issue and already solved it. Somehow AVG support rejected any help and denied the existense aof this issue. Disabling AVG doesn't help but uninstalling the product actually solves the issue. Any comment from anyone?

ManyCam, If applicable… For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Same issue here for me .. AVG (free edition) updated last night, and wanted a reboot... so restarted computer, wheich then failed to boot past the bios screen icon no matter how many resets or removal of power cord (not sure if this was AVG related or not.. but suspiciously coincidental??) anyway .. powered it off fully and left it disconnected from power over night .. checked it over this morning .. all seemd good.. powered on and it went to window. great. only to discover when opening ispy that camera no longer showing video. I didn't put 2 n 2 together at the time to suspect AVG .. but after a few uninstals of the camea and removing isp.. and updating ispy to latest .. I find these threads when searching for an answer... I can see video in logitech cam application .. so the usbcam is working fine.

I have followed a few links and added exceptions ..but still in the ispy it says "video not supported" when it tries to add my camera.

How do I get AVG Free to release my video feed???

Have the same problem with my MIcrosoft Lifecam VX-2000, ever since the latest AVG upgrade on 5/4/2017 my webcam video is blocked from working. Really affected my planned activities for today. Only works if I uninstall AVG.
