AVG is deleting files that I want to keep

What happened with your game is really unfortunate. In this case, I request you to disable AVG components (open AVG protection > menu > settings > components > disable all the components), install your game and add the game .exe file to AVG exception list (open AVG > menu > settings > general > exception). If the issue still persist, please contact us again.

I loaded up a game that I have been playing for forever and then AVG simply said that it was "acting up" so it gave me 2 options "Leave it or Kill it" So I clicked "kill it" (to be safe) So as I clicked it, it quit the game and deleted the .EXE file that is needed to load the game. And I cannot get it back! I can make an exception but AVG just keeps deleting it, I have also tried to redownload some of the files for my game and it says that it cant download as its getting blocked by a program (AVG). I also want to know how to make AVG not delete a file because it thinks that its a virus. I have a tool on my PC that I scanned online with Norton and nothing, so why does AVG have that? Thanks for listening and hope you can help!
