AVG is marking almost all my incoming emails as [SPAM] even though they are from recognised contacts who are on my whitelist. This has been happening since around October 15. Could an update have caused this? If so, what do I do to stop it happening?

Hi Roger,
Can you please provide us with few of those emails to our FTP (http://kb.avg.com/articles/How_to/How-to-upload-a-file-to-our-FTP-server) and score you have in settings of AntiSpam component?
Thanks

I've already seen that. It doesn't answer my question. What's causing AVG to flag almost all of my emails as [SPAM] when they're not spam? Disabling the email protection is no answer.

Hello, I am having the same problem. For the past week every single email I receive is being marked as [SPAM] in the subject header. They are not moved to the junk email folder, they are staying in my Inbox. I do not know what has changed. I thought it might be Outlook causing it and have today upgraded to Outlook 2013. it made no difference. I changed the settings within AVG to mark messages as [AVG SPAM] to test whether it really was AVG causing this and now all my emails are now being marked with [AVG SPAM]. These have been safe emails for years from my children and friends. Why is it suddenly doing this? It is very, very irritating as I have to remove the [AVG SPAM] from the subject line before I can reply to an email to prevent it being picked up as spam by others.

I would really appreciate any help you could provide.  Thank you.
