AVG is preventing me from printing wirelessly

AVG is preventing me from printing wirelessly. In order to print wirelessly I must first turn AVG VPN off, which can not be right. I've gone into account settings but I can't readily find the option which allows me to share my windows files or printer. Is anyone able to help me please? When I'm in 'Settings' the options I have are 'General'; 'Basic Protection'; 'Full Protection' and 'Tools'. Thanks in advance.

From your description, it seems that the local device access isn't enabled on your VPN program. To check this : 
Open AVG Secure VPN - Menu - Settings - General - check 'Enable local device access' box & let us know if it helps.
