AVG - is this a massive scam?

I now subscribe to three AVG products, Internet Security; Anti-track and Tune up yet AVG is constantly telling me I’m at critical risk of something and that I need to subscribe to yet another of their services. I think I’m going to start looking elsewhere for this software, if I bought everything they said I need I’d be paying a fortune

you only need the basic security. Ignore the red warnings, they’re just there to try and sell you more products. Or contact them on facebook messenger or X to try and get your money back if you want to cancel

All part of the SCAM. Auto billing ect. Sign up for a “product” and a year later you get an automatic deduction of 119.00 without notice…Here is how it should be done. For example,I have Mint Mobile. They email you 2-3 days in advance to let you know they are going to debit your account if you want to cancel service. Imagine that!!
